The PhD is not wasted

My PhD was not wasted on my research experience certainly wasn’t wasted. My timing academia served a very specific point in my life.

My role is complete. I contributed and created new knowledge.

Now is the time to move on knowing that I’ve done my part.

We need to learn to be bored more

I do my best thinking when I’m doing mundane tasks like the washing.

A job funds your passions

Previously, the thought of doing a really boring mundane job used to really upset me and make me depressed.

Instead, the way I looked at it now is that provides me with stability and funds my true passions. If the two overlap even better, but it’s not essential.

Jesus meets all of our needs

Jesus has already met our deepest needs by dying on the cross for out sins in a way that we could never repay. Think of the magnitude of that. How much more will he provide for you in your time of need?
