Seeing the world from the perspective of others

No, this is not something I’m actually very good at, but something I’m learning to practice. Far too often, I play out these detailed realities in my head about how and why people behave the way they do. But the reality is that I am almost always wrong.

Very quick to assume how people feel about certain situations–I don’t most always this “feeling” that someone is experiencing, and it’s almost always used to make me feel bad.

The reality is, though, nothing can be further from the truth, and I’ve got to learn to see things from other peoples perspectives. It is more than likely (in fact, it is almost certain) that they see the world the way I expect them to see the world. After all, I don’t see their life in full HD, so why should I assume?

This is help me to realise that actually everyone has their own issues, and no one’s life is perfect. It’s time to stop comparing myself to others once again. I don’t know what their problems are like, and everyone has problems.
