I think it’s fair to say that I’ve never real “got” what social media is all about.
When you consider how meany different types of platforms there are (e.g. microblogging, multimedia, communities, etc) it can be a very confusing landscape to navigate. People use them in different ways which makes this harder too.
Naturally, I’ve always been attracted to microblogging and communities-orientated platforms the most but even then I still don’t quite know what to do with them. What do I write about? How do I set up my profile (work or personal?).
I feel blogging is my main mode of expression now.
