I was struck by something a visiting preacher said in our church on Sunday regarding the forgiveness of others.
He said something along the lines of this..
“Who are you to withhold forgiveness? Do you not know that Christ forgave the full multitude of your sins.”
This is particularly relevant in the context of the challenge have been experiencing recently. And it got me questioning a lot recently. Am I withholding the forgiveness of others?
Maybe I am and I’m not prepared to give it to them, but the reminder that Christ forgave us was a huge motivator for me to do the same.
