One of the main reasons as to why I never get work done is because I feel this need to over perfect plans. It happened today. I wanted to do something I knew I should do yet I kept thinking of all possible combination of activities that were needed for the job.
In the end, I didn’t bother.
There’s planning, and there’s overplanning. Today was one of those days where I felt the need to over-plan.
Simply overplanning means you’ll spend more time planning than actually do. I get so worked up about the amount of work and effort that is required to get the job done!
Ultimately, what you need is to stop overplanning and to start doing. What’s the worst that can happen. You already know what to do.
This will lead me to make a chore out of doing things I love.
