So today is the day where I have to put the holidays behind me and face a new day (and new year for that matter) at work. This time away certainly helps me to remind myself of the true value of having time off.
It is important on occasion to put everything down and to just stop doing what you are doing. Even doing the simple little task related to work which may not seem much. I know for sure that something as small as checking emails can very easily turn into something that becomes larger and more involving.
This being said, it is easily done!
In future, I shall certainly use the time off as it is intended – to use it as a time of reflection, reminding myself of what I have achieved and what I would like to achieve
